✶ Commission Status: CLOSED ✶

All prices listed are in USD. Scroll down for general info and terms of service. This info remains up even when commissions are closed, so people can get an idea of options and pricing for future commission openings.

General Info

  • Pricing is doubled if you do not want me to post your commission to social media at all ever. (Asking me to delay until after a certain date, for example if it is for a surprise gift, within reason, is okay and will not incur an additional fee.)

  • PayPal or Square invoicing only at this time.

  • 10 week turnaround time from the time your payment is made. Please ensure you have payment set aside ready to go. I do not always take this long, but as this is my 2nd job I like to give a generous time frame to be safe and not create false expectations.

  • These will automatically be a format I feel best accommodates the pose unless you specify a specific size or aspect ratio. Your image will be 300-450 DPI depending on the canvas size, and my default tends to be 8”x10” or 10”x8”.

  • Commissions types not specified as a couples commission include 1 character only. They may also include 1 small “companion” creature if it is small and simple in design.

  • You will receive multiple check-ins which you must approve before I move on: 1 at the sketch stage to ensure you like the pose, 1 at the lineart stage to ensure all details are correct, 1 at the flat color stage to ensure I’ve gotten your character's colors correct, and one early in the shading stage to ensure you like the lighting. Please be detailed about what your character looks like and what type of background and lighting you would like.

  • Changes beyond the stages noted will incur an additional fee per change. Changes will not be made until the fee is paid. Basic changes are $25 per change. Changes that require me to go back to the flat color stage after completion will incur a $75 fee per change. Changes that require me to go back to the sketch stage after completion will be considered a full redo and you must pay the full commission cost again as a fee. The exception to this is if I hand over your completed commission and I got something wrong from what you told me/the examples you sent me (example; if you clearly explained or showed your character has purple eyes but I gave them red.)

  • You must be 18 years of age or older to order a commission from me.

Terms of Service (TOS)

General

  • By choosing to work with me (Lunarli Art Art/Alissa M Terracciano) and purchasing a commission, you (the client) agree to the terms outlined on this page. I reserve the right to turn down any commission inquiry without providing a reason. I also reserve the right to change these listed terms at any time, however, the listed time will NOT apply retroactively or influence work started on previous terms.

  • You must be 18 years of age or older to order a commission.

Payments

  • Payments are taken via PayPal opr Square invoice in USD. All prices are in USD.

  • For commissions at or under $400, payment is due up front before the commission is started. For commissions above $400, 50% of the payment is due up front, and the other 50% is due after the line art stage.

  • All invoices are due within 5 business days of receiving them unless agreed otherwise. Invoices not paid on time will be canceled, causing the commission to be canceled, and no further work will be completed or delivered. Clients will not receive the final completed work until payment is delivered in full.

  • Payments are nonrefundable once the work has begun. This includes any time spent researching necessary.

  • Partial refunds may be requested if needed depending on the circumstance. The amount of the refund will be determined by me depending on how much time has been spent on the work up to that point.

  • No refunds will be given on work that has been completed.

Deadlines

  • If you have a deadline that is different from what is outlined in that round of commissions, you must discuss it with me first so I can determine whether I am able to accommodate it.

Revisions

  • Prices include the number of revisions stated in the general info for that round of commissions. Please see commission round info for further details.

  • Revisions must be asked for during the work-in progress stage.

  • Any significant changes made after the concept/sketch stage will incur an additional fee (for example, asking to change a pose after I have already moved on to the shading stage) as noted in the commission round info, and will not be made until the invoice for the additional fee is paid.

  • Any changes requested after the work is completed will also incur an additional fee and will not be made until the invoice for the additional fee is paid.

What You Receive

  • Minimum 300 DPI PNG at the original canvas size of the completed work, plus a smaller more web-friendly version.

  • Other crops can be added upon request within reason for free. For example, if you paid for a vertical portrait but would also like a square cropped version to use a social media icon, or token on your personal VTT, that can be added free of charge.

Copyright & Use

  • I retain the copyright for all images created. I retain the right to post the work to any of my social media accounts, portfolio websites, and/or personal websites. If you do not wish me to post the work to any of my social media or websites, this will incur an additional fee.

  • I retain the right to use the work for my Patreon such as showing process steps, video recordings of the process, WIPs, or early access. However, I will NEVER give Patrons the high-resolution file or a print of a completed paid commission.

Personal Use Rights

  • When you (the client) purchase a personal commission, you have personal use rights and agree to not use the work for profit.

  • You may print and frame it to hang on your wall, you may use it as a desktop, laptop, or mobile device background, you may use it as a social media or Discord icon, a personal social media banner, etc.

  • You may not reproduce, distribute, alter, or otherwise use the work commercially. You may not claim that you created the work.

Commercial Use Rights

  • Prices listed here are for personal, non-commercial use only.

  • For commercial rights prices, please email me at lunarli.art.illo@gmail.com OR fill out the appropriate space on the form.

  • Commercial use incurs additional cost and must be agreed upon before initiating or proceeding with any commercial use.

AI Learning, AI Training, AI Art, AI Replication, Machine Learning

  • You may not, under any circumstances, use, redistribute, sell, resell, alter, or reproduce the commission for anything related to AI or machine learning, training, and replication for AI programs such as Midjourney, DALL-E, StarryAI, WOMBO Dream, and other AI programs.

  • You may not, under any circumstances, use the commissioned work to create AI images or assist in AI learning or training. You may not use the commissioned work as a basis for AI style replication, or AI image replication, altering, or learning.

Blockchain, Cryptocurrency, and NFTs

  • You may not, under any circumstances, use, redistribute, sell, resell, or reproduce the commission for anything related to cryptocurrency, blockchain, or NFTs (non-fungible tokens.) I do not have alternate pricing options/fees to purchase such rights.

  • You may also not, under any circumstances, edit or alter the commission work in any way for anything related to cryptocurrency, blockchain, or NFTs. I do not have alternate pricing options/fees to purchase such rights.

Retweeting, Reblogging, or (Re)Sharing vs. Reposting

  • I post all finished work to my social media unless agreed otherwise. Please note that asking me not to share your commission to social media at all may incur an additional fee. (Asking me not to post until after a certain date if it’s a surprise gift, for example, is okay.) Retweeting (such as on Twitter, reblogging (such as on Tumblr or PillowFort,) or (re)sharing (such as with the paper plane icon on Instagram) help me to expand my audience for my work so I can potentially gain more support to continue to do my artwork, and hopefully do even more of it. Retweeting, (re)sharing, and reblogging my post of your finished commission is much appreciated and encouraged!

  • Reposting or reuploading your commission -meaning re-uploading it to your own social media or a Discord server, etc to post -is allowed with proper credit back to my art handle @lunarliart. This helps others to find me in case they want to commission me so I can grow my business and is also much appreciated!

  • You may not repost or reupload artwork by me you did not commission.

  • You may not claim that the artwork was made by you or imply any such claims.
